Call for Expressions of Interest (EOI) from Students

 

EIS SUMMER SCHOLARSHIPS - EOI now open

The Faculty of Engineering & Information Sciences (EIS) invite high-performing undergraduate students entering their final year of study and considering post-graduate studies. 

Scholarships typically will be awarded to students with a high WAM average and who anticipate completing their final year of undergraduate study in 2025 and are looking to begin higher degree research in 2026. 
Master students may also be considered. 

The scholarships are valued at $500 per week and will be awarded based on academic merit and research potential in the preferred area of study. The Scholarships will be tenable for an agreed period of up to 8, 10 or weeks. EIS is committed to providing an educational and research experience with equity, diversity, and inclusion and encourages all students to apply. 

To submit your EOI to undertake a Summer Scholarship follow the steps below:

 

1. Review the list of Research projects and their descriptions
2. Identify 3 Research projects you are interested in undertaking ensuring you meet their prerequisite
3. Contact the projects' supervisor to discuss your interest and suitability, and
3. Complete the EOI survey via the Apply Now button below.
