Are you interested in building research collaborations through the National Industry PhD Program? Join an information session with the Dean of Graduate Research, Campus Plus Regional Director and an experienced supervisor in this program, to learn more about the scheme and how you can engage with industry-focused PhD projects.

Research collaboration is instrumental in fostering graduate research excellence and enhancing graduate outcomes. The National Industry PhD Program supports PhD candidates to engage in collaborative, industry-focused research projects, equipping them to translate research into practical applications. Graduates from this program will be uniquely positioned to serve as conduits between research and industry and prepared for diverse career pathways.

The Program offers two exciting pathways tailored to meet both academic and industry demands:

  • Industry Linked PhD stream: This stream provides PhD candidates with a unique blend of co-designed research projects between academia and industry, enriched by a 12-week specialised training program and hands-on industry experience.
  • Industry Researcher PhD stream: Designed for highly capable industry professionals, this stream allows candidates to pursue PhD studies while retaining their industry roles and benefits.
