About the Event

The Student Advisory Council (SAC) Voice to Parliament Ceremony is a special event designed for students and people interested in engaging in conversations of support for the upcoming referendum.

The event will provide an opportunity for SAC to formally present their statement of support for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice to Parliament. This statement received signatures of support from UOW students which will complement the statement.

This event will connect the UOW student community for an in-depth dialogue and show of solidarity for the upcoming referendum. With speakers including the Chair of SAC, Vice President, Indigenous Strategy and Engagement and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and Student Life).

After the event there will be an opportunity for attendees to network, participate in a “Yes” badgemaking session and enjoy free food. We can’t wait to see you there!
