
Workshop description:
Join UOW Library for an interactive workshop exploring Microsoft Copilot and how it can be used effectively to support your HDR studies and research.
The workshop will introduce practical ways to use Copilot, from developing ideas and refining prompts to critically evaluating AI-generated information. You’ll also explore the limitations of Copilot and the importance of applying your own judgment when working with AI.
You will learn how to:
- understand how Microsoft Copilot can support your HDR studies and research;
- write effective prompts to get more useful and relevant responses from Copilot;
- critically evaluate Copilot’s responses, including identifying inaccuracies, bias and other limitations; and
- verify and acknowledge AI-generated information appropriately using credible sources, UOW Library resources and UOW guidelines.
Requirement:
In person participants will need to bring their own device.
