Beginning your research journey?

This workshop introduces the essential principles of strong research design to help you make clear, confident decisions about how to structure your study. You’ll learn how to craft a focused research question and choose an appropriate methodological approach to ensure your project is coherent, rigorous, and achievable.

In this session, we will:

  • Discuss how to refine your idea into a clear, researchable, and meaningful question

  • Explore how theory and conceptual frameworks shape research design

  • Briefly overview qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods options so you can decide which approach suits your project
