Workshop description:
Given the exponentially growing scientific literature, it is critical to synthesise reliable research for evidence-based decision-making.
Systematic reviews play a vital role in providing an updated and reliable synthesis of established evidence.
This workshop will provide you with a fundamental understanding of undertaking systematic reviews.
By the end of this seminar, you will be able to:
- Understand the rationale for conducting a systematic review, meta-analysis and meta-synthesis
- Describe and discuss the steps in conducting systematic reviews
- Be able to formulate a research question using the PICO framework
This workshop is targeted at early to mid-stage candidates, or candidates who have not attempted a systematic review.
