
Workshop description:
Publishing your research is an important part of HDR candidature.
This workshop explores the key considerations for responsible publication and dissemination, with a focus on authorship, researcher responsibilities, and the University policies that support ethical research practice.
Topics will include:
- Authorship in Higher Degree Research, including roles, expectations, and agreements
- Your responsibilities in research publication and dissemination, including ethical and responsible practice
- Essential UOW policies that guide authorship, research data management, and intellectual property
The workshop will provide practical guidance to help HDR candidates navigate publication-related decisions and understand their responsibilities as emerging researchers.
This workshop counts toward the annual mandatory Research Integrity workshop requirement for continuing HDR candidates.
Attendance will be taken. This session will not be recorded.
