As an HDR candidate, you need to be skilled at navigating Library resources for your discipline area.

In this seminar, you will be guided through key databases and effective ways to find peer-reviewed journal articles and other scholarly sources as you start to explore your topic and gather references for your literature review.


Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this seminar, you will be able to:

  • Locate Library guides relevant to your discipline
  • Identify key research databases
  • Construct a search strategy and enter it into the Scopus database
  • Understand how to locate peer-reviewed journal articles
