In this session, we will discuss the expectations for research proposals and their essential elements. We’ll unpack each of these and look at various examples.

Bring a draft of your proposal for the opportunity to discuss it and benefit from peer review of some of the following: your thesis title (more important than you might think!), your research questions/aims, and the significance of your study.

By the end of this seminar, you will better understand:

  • The purpose and expectations of the Research Proposal Review
  • The main elements required in a research proposal
  • The function of each research proposal section
  • What a good example of a research proposal looks like

Early stage HDR candidates.
