Tips on framing your research question for analysis and how to visualise and analysis your data.
This is an introductory workshop is designed for students with a quantative component to their PhD. The workshop covers how to frame your research questions for analysis and how to explore your data including types of data and displaying your data. There will be a refresher on common statistical methods and when to use which method. Common sample size and power issues will be mentioned. We will also cover statistical analysis software and what is available at UOW.

- Candidates will learn how to frame research questions for data analysis.
- Candidates will learn to identify data types.
- Candidates will learn how to explore and visualise data.
- Candidates will learn about common statistical methods.
Accessibility:
67.101 is a wheelchair accessible lecture theatre. A number of blue badge parking spaces are available immediately outside building, and an accessible toilet is situated beside the lecture theatre.
