The Qualitative Statistics Workshops target researchers who are beginning to use qualitative research methods as part of their research. It will provide a practical introduction to using qualitative approaches, with a particular focus on key tips for producing qualitative research of a publishable standard.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this workshop, you will have a greater understanding of key components of qualitative research, including:

  • Philosophical underpinnings of qualitative research
  • Tips for conducting an interview
  • Data analysis and writing the results
  • Approaches to rigour and trustworthiness.
