Workshop Description:

This workshop focuses on the role of supervision through a research integrity lens, providing practical guidance and insights into maintaining high ethical standards throughout the research journey.

Tasks:

Candidates will develop practical strategies to maintain and foster the collaborative relationship they have with their supervisor.

Learning Outcomes:

Candidates will gain an appreciation for the complexity of supervisory relationships through identifying the responsibilities of research supervisors and research students. They will increase their understanding of the benefits of an effective and collaborative supervisory relationship and be able to identify the characteristics of a good supervisory relationship.

Important to note: Due to the nature of this workshop, presenters encourage candidates to attend in person, where possible. People who attend online will still be able to participate in the work however. Additionally, only the introduction on the topic will be recorded. This is because there may be conversations had during the workshop which are of a personal nature and we have decided we will not be sharing those. In lieu, a summary of the key point and a number of resources will be shared with candidates who register to attend.
