All attendees should bring their laptop and have 2 prepared examples of time consuming or challenging tasks they need to undertake ot complete their thesis.

Workshop Description:

Do you or your colleagues ever feel inundated with work?  Are you ever concerned about whether your skills will be valued in the future? 

If you answered yes to either of these questions, this workshop is essential to you.  Even if you answered no, this workshop is still essential.  During this workshop:

  • You will learn how about the various platforms that you can use to create your own AI tools,
  • You will observe the creation of an AI tool,
  • You will learn how to use existing AI tools that can diminish the workload of university staff,
  • You will learn how to create your own chatbot or AI tools,
  • Participants will brainstorm other tools that UOW should create to benefit the university. 

Tasks:

Candidates create their own AI tool as well as identify other novel AI opportunities to benefit HDR candidates.

Learning Outcomes:

Candidates will learn how to design and to develop AI tools as well as utilise some other advanced features of AI.
