Advanced NVivo - will teach the following aspects of qualitative research and analysis using NVivo:

Overview of the software and coding and analysis

  • Advanced literature review and literature analysis
  • Automated coding techniques
  • Hypothesis testing
  • Using media (images, videos & audio)
  • Creating and using cases
  • Advanced querying
  • Visualisation tools
  • Using NVivo in a team environment
  • Communicating analysis and findings

Eligibility

For you to be eligible to attend the Advanced NVivo Training Course you must have completed an earlier training course (NVivo 7, 8, 9 or 10; or Introduction to NVivo 11), and you must be proficient in the following NVivo skills:

  • Able to import and code data,
  • Able to use classifications and attributes,
  • Understand the function of the Word Frequency Query and the Matrix Coding Query,
  • Know how to create memos, annotations and links, and
  • Know how to do basic modelling.
