Frequently Asked Questions
The HDR Festival will be held at the University of Wollongong, Wollongong Campus from 5-7 February, 2024. Days 1 & 2 (Monday and Tuesday) will take place in Building 67 (McKinnon), Lecture Theatre 107. Day 3 (Wednesday) will take place in Building 21 (Early Start), Room G08.
The HDR Festival will be an in-person event for HDR students from across the university. Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide an online attendance option due to the interactive and activity-based nature of the event. However, sessions containing information relevant to HDR candidates will be recorded and available online after the festival.
That is okay! We would still love to have you join us for what you can make. Registration will be broken up across the three days so you can register separately for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Absolutely! We have a wonderful HDR community at UOW and this will be a fantastic opportunity to meet fellow HDR candidates and make some new friends. There will be plenty of time for getting to know people in our interaction activities, during food breaks, and during our social event.
