Description

"PyPro," made by PLT Development Firm, is a web-based platform that harnesses Python's accessibility to offer an optimal entry point for budding coders who find conventional teaching methods intimidating. PyPro offers an easy-to-follow learning curriculum, starting from fundamental coding principles and progressing to advanced topics like aspects of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). This curriculum is delivered through an interactive teaching game, designed to provide incentives and consistent progression, helping new users build confidence. Surrounding this teaching game, we've built a robust learning community with features like friendship systems for personal messaging, open discussion threads, and engaging rotating coding challenges. What sets PyPro apart is its foundational architecture, purposefully designed for future expansion and relevance, ensuring the platform grows hand in hand with the community it serves. Our project aims to streamline the tracking and management of company inventory. Stockor enables users to efficiently monitor and manage inventory levels. Cyber Protect Website

Description

Our group, Cyber Protect, have a strong passion for protecting all against the cyber risks that exist in the world around us. We wanted to design an exciting and fun website for our target audience to use that opens their eyes to the world of cyber dangers, and to then protect themselves as best as possible. We have designed the website with calming colours, an easy to use menu that allows users to navigate to textual information about threats and defence strategies accompanied by watch easy-to-understand videos backing this information up, as well as the opportunities for users to test themselves on the new knowledge they are learning about. All in all, achieving the main goal of a safer cyber experience for all.

SocketFit

Description

SocketFit supports people with below-knee amputations in maximising their overall comfort by tracking pressure values within their prosthetic socket fit. Pressure data can be useful for clinicians in designing a prosthesis that better fits the wearer. Collected data will allow researchers to understand the baselines for comfortable pressure, which can improve future prosthetic designs.

Nursic

Description

Nursic is an Electronic Medical Record training tool designed to mimic real world EMR systems used in NSW hospitals and assist in teaching nursing students how to complete various bedside activities required of them in a real world environment.

Nursing students are able to complete digitised versions of medical forms, input patient information such as clinical notes and provide admission information. This enables them to participate in medical scenarios orchestrated by their teacher in order to gain a better understanding of bedside activities.

Nursing faculty are able to interact with the web application by creating the patients that the students will be interacting with as part of their work. Teachers are also able to select which patients are visible to the students in the system to better design scenarios for the students to complete.

OnTRAK

Description

OnTRAK is a web-based tool designed to empower transport analysts and rail professionals by providing invaluable insights into rail traffic management. Initially developed for the complex NSW rail network, which manages over 3,200 daily timetabled services, OnTRAK addresses the challenges of disruptions, punctuality issues, and their impact on passenger satisfaction.

This comprehensive tool offers a user-friendly, feature-rich, front-end visualization tool, a robust backend simulator, and a dynamic database integrated with the latest GTFS data from Transport for NSW. It enables transport personnel to experimentally explore normal and disrupted rail circulation scenarios, aiming to significantly enhance disruption response strategies.

OnTRAK's modular design allows the interchangeability of the simulator component, offering adaptability and scalability. Beyond rail, OnTRAK has the potential to be utilised for transportation management across various modes, wherever GTFS feeds are available. OnTRAK, delivering a shift towards enhanced efficiency and increased passenger satisfaction in rail traffic management.

The project's primary objective is to create a user-friendly and robust web service that leverages artificial neural network (ANN) models to predict stock market trends effectively. Users have access to a wide range of stock market data and insights presented in a clear and actionable format. The heart of the project lies in the accuracy of stock market predictions. ANN models are meticulously trained and fine-tuned using historical market data. Regular updates and improvements are incorporated to enhance prediction accuracy continually. The project delivers a cutting-edge web service that empowers users with accurate stock market predictions while prioritizing ease of use and scalability for long-term success.

Description

Coding Companion is a specialized e-learning platform dedicated solely to Python programming. Created using the powerful MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, and Node.js), the platform focuses on providing foundational to advanced Python programming courses. A standout feature is the integration of the GPT API for chat-based assistance directly in the code editor. The Datawise system represents an advancement in the field of database management. It has been crafted to streamline the creation of database scripts, requiring minimal user input. By simply presenting the system with a fundamental database schema comprising multiple tables and specifying the desired data types to populate those tables, users can effortlessly generate a comprehensive database, complete with sample data that adheres to their logical constraints.

ArthriCare

Description 

Arthritis is a ubiquitous chronic condition that affects a significant number of people in Australia, with an estimated 3.6 million (15%) Australians currently suffering from it. Arthritis can be frustrating and exhausting, affecting patients' quality of life as well as that of their families. This is where ArthriCare comes in, offering a new way for patients to take control of their health. 

One of our proud features in ArthriCare is the exploitation of gamification mechanics. We use game design elements to engage and motivate users, aiming to improve their medication adherence and help them achieve their health goals.

The other feature that we're particularly proud of is the Community and Message sections. We understand how important community support and friendships can be, especially for those managing chronic diseases like arthritis. Therefore, we've put in lots of effort into these sections, so that patients could engage in one-on-one chats as well as group discussions within the arthritis community.

TimeApp

Description

Ascend is a comprehensive and engaging time management system with gamified elements.

Users are able to track their progress with a simple yet effective tasks page,

and can dedicate time to completing their tasks with our focus mode.

Once tasks are completed, the user gains XP and levels as proof of progress, which is

shown visually through climbing a mountain on our progress page.

The user can also access extra information on their progress through the analytics page.

We have built a streamlined login system for users to have access to all their previous tasks.

Ascend is built as a PWA for all screen sizes and is available both in browser, and as a downloadable app.

Pro estimate

Description

Pro Estimate is an application that provides the prediction of real estate properties.

Our project aims at developing a concise, practical and efficient online web application for customers with accurate prediction results.
The project includes two main parts, the web for end-users and the validation of housing price prediction by machine learning. We collect all the NSW property transactions from 2001 to 2022, in order to develop a better-generalized model in a short period of time, we filtered the source data by selecting only properties of the residential type, with a price range of $30,000 to $3,000,000, excluding residences of the unit type, and the number of transactions in each range must reach a certain threshold value.
After the filtering, 1.6 Million (originally it was 4.2 Million) transactions are kept for the model training and our webpage will only record those of data.

SOCURE provide continuous monitoring, Alert ranking and immediate threat response to provide the highest level of security to your network. Utilizing a Honeypot system potential threats can be screened and recognized before they become an issue preventing any further intrusion.

IDentify

Description

IDentify's key functionality uses machine learning technologies to capture a photo of different forms of ID cards, identify/classify the card and extracts the information on those cards through an OCR model to be stored securely and used by our end users. This system aims to provide an easy way for businesses to automatically extract card information without the need for tedious manual data capture. 

The system allows users to either upload their photos directly or provides the ability to generate a QR code that they can allow their customers to use to capture their ID and submit it to the system. In addition to this, we aim to provide additional services such as form generation using the captured data.

SecBoard

Description

SecBoard is an open-source project delivering a blockchain-enabled secure bulletin board website that allows users to publish information, advertisements, and notices. The blockchain systems improve the trust, security and transparency of the data. However, many practical issues arise addressed in developing a blockchain-based bulletin board. For example, a malicious user may publish illegal information or private information about others, which must be removed from the blockchain, which cannot be tampered with to maintain integrity. By utilising and implementing recent research into editable blockchains, we implement a blockchain that allows for corrections to be made, supporting both edits and deletions of posts. To prevent the malicious deleting and editing of existing posts, we implement a trusted administration group to validate and verify the posts.

Description 

The aim of the Unannoying application is to develop an intuitive mobile application for the Android platform that will educate users about security dangers such as phishing emails, calls, and texts while allowing them to block these potentially dangerous forms of communication. The project seeks to provide an extensive, user-friendly solution. 

Unannoying aims to offer a solution that not only alerts users of potentially malicious text messages, emails, or phone calls but also provides descriptions as to why a message is flagged as malicious, utilizing advanced machine learning models to enhance user protection from these threats.
