Kooper Security Marketplace
Project Summary
Kooper Security has developed a Proof of Concept to demonstrate the deployment of a cybersecurity marketplace. The Kooper Security Marketplace (KSM) facilitates the transfer of cybersecurity services between cybersecurity professionals and small- to medium-sized businesses in Australia. Transactions use the KOOP service token, allowing Cybersecurity Experts and small and medium-sized enterprises to access Cybersecurity as a Service (CaaS). Specifically, the KSM operates without a single source of leadership through clearly defined logical rules enforced by Smart Contract technology that uses Web 3.0 to create a Decentralised Autonomous Organisation. As a result, Kooper Security has designed the KSM using decentralised data and distributed peer-to-peer protocols that utilise consensus algorithms to provide transparency and tamper-proof ledgers of all transactions.

Weeds Conversations
Project Summary
Weeds Conversations is a digital hub which allows users to share information about the spread and handling of invasive plant species in Australia. The initial site was designed as a response to the 2019 bushfire crisis where invasive species rapidly grew in the aftermath of the fires. Since then, various ecological disasters such as flooding during recent La Niña seasons have further allowed the spread of invasive weeds.
Our site allows accurate and accessible discussion about these weeds, presented in a social and direct form. Weeds Conversations is a free interface which directs people to reliable means of control and awareness about weeds in their region. A focus on creating ‘stories’ allows users to categorize and filter posts to quickly find what they need. Additionally, various search methods from a simple search bar, to filter boxes, or a map lets users find information in a way that suits them.

Cinema Sense
Project Summary
The need for assisting the visually impaired to experience film in an immersive manner is a commonly overlooked problem in the modern world. With the release of Brick Studio’s movie in-the-making featuring a blind surfer (The Blind Sea), the opportunity to bring attention to this problem for the blind audience is now.
This project focuses on the development of immersing the blind audience through multi-sensory engagement. By analysing film through object recognition technologies, Computer Vision and CUDA, we are able to translate emotions and movement into sensory vibration. Viewers may experience this through iOS and Android by using the CinemaSense Mobile application to scan a generated QR Code that will play in synchronization to the movie and generate sensory mobile effects based on the visual cues on screen.
With the support of its technologies, CinemaSense aims to replace or supplement the current viewing experience for people affected by blindness with immersive sensory engagement.

HookUI
Project Summary
HookUI is a minimalist, virtual reality overlay that aims to make spending time in VR more user friendly. By allowing you to receive important system / media notifications, check the time for one or more timezones, system performance metrics and more, all without breaking immersion.
HookUI is built around the idea of being performant and minimalist. Current overlays systems break immersion with complicated UI's, large amounts of overhead from rendering the users desktop / application windows, and ultimately fail to enhance the VR experience. HookUI interfaces directly with the universal windows platform to ensure that the user has access to any important system information or notifications and it will run on any PC headset or hardware configuration as it runs natively on top of SteamVR. It takes the form of a simple, customizable watch face that can be hidden or shown at any time, stop more messing around with additional windows, tiny desktops, laggy user interfaces, and get back in the game.
