The Innovation Conference will include invited talks from Industries, UOW Start-up presentations, selected student thesis/project presentations and an industry-academia-student panel discussion.

The Innovation Exhibition provides an opportunity for students enrolled in the annual Engineering Design and Management subjects to showcase the innovative products they develop as a team in their second and third year.

Based on the subjects:

ECTE250 – Engineering Design and Management 2
ECTE351 – Engineering Design and Management 3

The subjects consist of a structured team design activity covering the first four phases of a product design cycle. Student teams will undertake the entire project using staff as 'costed' advisors. Working in groups students will learn management concepts and tools to enable engineers to effectively manage the critical implementation aspects of projects; social and ethical considerations; psychology/ergonomics; and engineering test methodology.

This event provides a great opportunity to network with future graduates.
